The application for the JumpStart Afterhours program is now open to St. Landry public high school students. Students will only be allowed to participate in one session for the after-school program. Students will earn up to $1,000.00 for all programs listed and a Carnegie credit. Some may earn more depending on the program.
The application will close on September 26, 2025. Students will be notified if their application was received, and will receive notification of acceptance within three weeks of the close of the application.
Programs are contingent on enrollment. Students MUST have reliable transportation (unless a class is virtual) and must commit to the 138 hours.

Ben officially signed with the National Guard yesterday! After scoring extremely high on the ASVAB, he qualified for every MOS and chose his path with confidence. Heâll serve one weekend a month and two weeks each summer while pursuing his IT/Computer Science degree at UL Lafayette.

3ïžâŁ The third was an all out race to the finish line. đ
