We have an Early Dismissal coming up next Wednesday, November 12th, 2025.
This means students will be leaving school earlier than usual. Double-check the exact dismissal time and make sure transportation/pickup is all set!
PBHS Clean-up Day
Dear Community, Staff, and Athletic Teams,
Port Barre High is hosting a campus clean-up on December 6, 2025. We'll be spreading limestone in several areas and preparing our athletic complexes for winter and the upcoming spring season. All hands on deck — your help makes a big difference. Tractors, leaf blowers, edgers, and trailers are all needed.
Please come out to lend a hand as we get our campus and facilities ready for the new year and semester. We appreciate our community school’s support.

Thank you for your continued support. Please remember that if your child is checking out, it MUST be with someone listed on their immediate sign‑out log in our system; that parent or guardian must sign them out. Per district policy, administrators are not permitted to sign students out.
If there is an extenuating circumstance, please contact Principal Nick McIntosh at nmcintosh@slpsb.org. Safety is our top priority, and knowing exactly where students are at all times helps keep them safe.

A quick reminder that tomorrow is Senior Night for football. For tomorrow only, all Seniors may wear jeans to school. This is your night—enjoy the celebration. The rest of the school should wear spirit wear or regular school attire.
Friday, November 7, 2025, is Throwback Friday for the entire student body. Students may dress in school-appropriate throwback outfits for a $1.00 charge. Keep it school-appropriate and have fun. Thanks for maintaining great attendance.
